Referral Program Terms & Conditions

Open only to Advanced Acne to g l o w® and Advanced Acne Pathway™ (Advanced Acne to g l o w® + Online Acne Specialist™) alumni. 

• Earn 20% of the listed program price for every new student who enrols through your unique referral link. 

• Eligible programs: Advanced Acne to g l o w® and Advanced Acne Pathway™ one pay, pay in full option only.

• Commissions are paid on a 14 day basis via a Hyperwallet (you can set this up inside your Collabs account once your application is approved). When joining the program via the Shopify Collabs platform, you will add your payment details inside your Creator Account. 

• Once you enrol in Advanced Acne to g l o w® or the Advanced Acne Pathway™ (Advanced Acne to g l o w® + Online Acne Specialist™), you will find your referral program application link inside your Circle student portal.

1. About the Program

The Skincare Academy Referral Program (Program) allows Advanced Acne to g l o w® and Advanced Acne Pathway (Advanced Acne to g l o w® + Online Acne Specialist™) alumni students (Referrers) to earn a 20% cash commission by referring new students to enrol in eligible Skincare Academy programs. By joining, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

The Program is operated by Skincare Academy Pty Ltd (ABN: 186 550 630 04), Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia.

2. Who Can Join

To participate you must:

•  Be a current or former alumni student of the Skincare Academy’s: Advanced Acne to g l o w® and/or Advanced Acne Pathway (Advanced Acne to g l o w® + Online Acne Specialist™) course;

•  Apply and be approved by Hayley, Skincare Academy Pty Ltd Founder, we reserve the right to accept or decline any application without providing a reason;

•  Be at least 18 years of age; and

•  Comply with all applicable laws in your country of residence.

3. Eligible Programs

Commissions apply to the following programs only:

•  Advanced Acne to g l o w® — $2,497 pay in full 

•  Advanced Acne Pathway™ (Advanced Acne to g l o w® + Online Acne Specialist™ Set) — $3,994 pay in full 

We reserve the right to add or remove programs at any time. You will be notified of any changes by email.

4. How Commissions Work

You earn 20% of the listed program price (excluding any applicable taxes) for each new student who enrols using your unique referral link.

Commissions are one-time per qualifying sale. They do not apply to:

•  Purchases by existing students who were not originally referred by you;

•  Purchases made using an unauthorised discount or coupon code; or

•  Payment plans or payment plan instalments that are subsequently defaulted on.

•  Any Promotional launches.

6. Commission Hold and Adjustments

A 30-day hold applies to all commissions from the date of purchase. Commissions will not be released until this period has passed without a refund request.

Note: Skincare Academy programs are subject to a strict no-refund policy. In the rare event a refund is issued (e.g. under Australian Consumer Law), the associated commission will be cancelled or adjusted accordingly.

We reserve the right to withhold or reverse commissions in cases of suspected fraud or breach of these Terms.

7. Getting Paid

•  Commissions are paid monthly. 

•  Payments are made via Paypal Hyperwallet. You are responsible for providing accurate payment details.

•  All commissions are paid in AUD. Any currency conversion fees are your responsibility.

8. Your Referral Link

•  You will receive a unique referral link when approved.

•  The attribution window is 30 days, if your referred person does not purchase within 30 days of clicking your link, the referral expires.

•  If multiple referrers refer the same person, the commission goes to the most recent referral link clicked before purchase.

•  You may not use your own referral link to purchase programs for yourself. Self-referrals will not earn commission and may result in removal from the Program.

9. How You Can Promote

You agree to:

•  Represent Skincare Academy Pty Ltd and its programs honestly and accurately at all times;

•  Only use your approved referral link for marketing purposes. 

• Not

•  Not make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about outcomes, results, or earning potential;

•  Not make medical claims or imply clinical outcomes that fall outside scope of practice;

•  Not use spam, unsolicited emails, or deceptive tactics;

•  Not run paid ads using Skincare Academy brand or program names without prior written approval; and

•  Not create websites or social media accounts that could be confused with official Skincare Academy channels.

This is a private referral program, not an affiliate program. The difference matters.

Advanced Acne to g l o w® is a clinical certification, not an impulse purchase. It has always sold the same way clinical education sells, one practitioner telling another she trusts, this is what changed how I treat acne. That conversation can't be broadcast. It only works one to one.

So we ask you to share it the way you would recommend a mentor.

Why we're strict about this

Two reasons, and the first one is about you. Cold traffic does not enrol in a clinical certification. Your referral converts because it comes from you, personally, to someone who already trusts your clinical judgement. Broadcasting it removes the only ingredient that makes it work and your conversion rate goes with it.

The second is the brand. Skincare Academy sits at the top of acne education in the Skin and Beauty industry internationally and how it is spoken about is part of that. We would rather have ten referrals from practitioners who are committed to treating the internal root cause of their clients acne, than hundreds of links pasted everywhere. 

10. Disclosure

You must clearly disclose your referral relationship wherever your link appears,  in posts, emails, videos, or any other content. Disclosure must be visible and near the link, for example:

"This is a referral link and I earn a commission if you enrol through this link, at no extra cost to you."

Failure to disclose may result in removal from the Program.

11. Intellectual Property

Skincare Academy Pty Ltd  brand name, logos, and program names (including Advanced Acne to g l o w®, Online Acne Specialist™, and Advanced Acne Pathway™) remain our exclusive property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use our name to promote your referral link. This licence ends immediately if you are removed from the Program.

12. Your Status

Referrers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of the Skincare Academy Pty Ltd.  You are solely responsible for your own tax obligations (including GST if registered) arising from commissions earned. Australian-based referrers registered for GST must issue a valid tax invoice. We may request your ABN before processing payments.

13. Privacy

We collect your name, email, and payment details to administer the Program. Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (www.skincareacademy.com.au/privacy-policy). You must not collect, store, or misuse the personal information of any person you refer.

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your participation in the Program. Our total liability is limited to commissions earned by you in the 12 months preceding any claim. We do not guarantee any level of income or sales from participation.

15. Ending the Program

Either party may end participation at any time by written notice. Commissions that have cleared the 30-day hold and meet the minimum threshold will be paid in the next payment cycle. Commissions not yet cleared at the time of termination will be forfeited.

We may immediately remove any Referrer who breaches these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or acts in a way that damages the Skincare Academy brand.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and active Referrers will be notified by email. Continued participation after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
