Appointments


During your initial appointment you and your Acne Naturopath will discuss your current health challenges, previous medical history, health history timeline, current & past stressors, lifestyle, diet, medication, supplements, family history, complete body system review and skincare usage. Then your Acne Naturopath will complete your individualised evidence based treatment plan and prescription, addressing the internal root cause of your acne. Helping you achieve your skin and wellness goals, holistically. Throughout your return appointment your Naturopath will make any additional changes to your treatment plan, prescription and explain your functional pathology test results to you.  

 

New Client Intake Form


It is important to prioritise the 'New Client Intake Form' and answer all the questions in detail, as this will be the foundation for your initial appointment with your Expert Acne Naturopath. It is a requirement that we have this form completed prior to your scheduled initial appointment.

Once you purchase the Clear Skin Starter Package, you will be prompted to select a time/date that suits you best for you initial appointment. You will also receive instant access to the 'New Client Intake Form', including a comprehensive health questionnaire. Please note all appointments are conducted online via video conference call. 

 

Functional Pathology Interpretation Report


This report is crucial when treating the internal root cause of acne.  Addressing any internal nutritional deficiencies, imbalances and the overall function of each bodily system. This report will allow you to feel confident understanding the root cause of your acne, like never before. Empowering you to make the changes needed. In your return (30 minute) appointment your Expert Acne Naturopath will explain your results in a clear, easy to understand manner, ensuring that you have a thorough understanding of your health. Your Acne Naturopath will then integrate these results into your treatment strategy, addressing the underlying root cause of your acne on a deeper level. You are then sent a downloadable Functional Pathology Interpretation Report for your own health records to keep.

What does the Clear Skin Starter Package include?

  • An individualised evidence based action plan, regarding what you need to do moving forward to achieve your health and skin related goals. 

  • Food as Medicine prescriptions and support, with individualised recommendations, recipes and specific nutrients needing to be consumed.  

  • If supplementation is needed, a breakdown of each supplement you will be taking, why you are taking it, how to take it and how long you need to take the supplement. Supplements are high quality practitioner only grade supplements either in capsules, tablets or in a powder form. 

  • The Functional Pathology Interpretation report, so you understand what your blood tests mean - *this will be explained in your return appointment, once your Expert Acne Naturopath has all the necessary results and can correlate this report for you. 

  • Nutrition and lifestyle strategies and modifications, specific to your individual cause of acne. *Please note our Naturopaths do not provide meal plans in the initial appointment due to time constraints but this is something our Naturopaths would be happy to support you in future return appointments. 

  • Educational handouts to suit your individual needs, which may include How to guides, Nutritional implementation strategies, stress reduction strategies, information about your condition and recommended resources (books, podcast episodes, videos), plus many more. 

  • Organisation of pathology request forms if needed such as Hormonal testing, Microbiome mapping and SIBO testing. 

  • A referral letter to your doctor, outlining what blood test results your Naturopath requests you to complete before your return  appointment. If your Naturopath would like you to complete functional gut testing, your Naturopath will organise this directly through i-screen for the kits to be sent to your home. Your Naturopath can also organise all functional testing including blood testing needed to be collected through i-screen for an additional fee, if you do not wish to see your doctor.

Treatment plans are emailed out to you after your initial appointment, usually the
same day but can take up to 48 hours.

Hayley holds degrees in Naturopathic and Complementary Medicine with over thirteen (13) years experience in the field of Naturopathy.

Hayley’s intense ten (10) year personal acne journey, inspired Hayley to take matters into her own hands and study to become a double degree qualified Acne Naturopath, finally treating the root cause of her acne and now hundreds of her client's acne. Hayley’s immense passion for education is the basis of her practice. Hayley achieves life changing results for her clients, due to her evidence based practice, holistic approach to treating the internal root cause of acne. Hayley interprets acne as a clinical sign representing a larger internal health challenge that needs to be addressed. Hayley interprets Acne as the bodies way of sending a ‘help signal’, alarming the client to address the root cause of their acne internally.
